Princes North Lake

Location and Access

Located in Nineveh Township, Indiana, Princes North Lake is one of the 14 Princes Lakes in the area. This is a beautiful and private property where only residents who live on the lake have access.

Due to the lake's proximity to the highways, Indianapolis is close by, and travels to other southern states are an easy and short drive away!

Fishing Opportunities

Anyone interested in fishing in the lakes should check with the community guidelines. The most commonly caught fish species here are smallmouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, and trout.

Around Princes North Lake

If you are a nature lover and want to enjoy the outdoors, then Princes North Lake is a great option. On the water, you can enjoy paddle boarding, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, and more! For exercise, enjoy a nice walk, run, or bike around the lake.

Princes Lakes Town is adjacent to Princes North Lake. Residents can also grab a slice of pizza at Eddie’s Lakeview Pizza, rated four stars and higher that happens to be a local favorite!

Hospital and Airport

Located around Princes Northeast Lake are two major hospitals: the Johnson Memorial Health General Hospital, 20 minutes north, and the Columbus Regional Health, 30 minutes south.

The closest and most commonly used international airport is the Indianapolis International Airport located about an hour north.

Education Options

There are a variety of schools to choose from in the area. The closest to Princes North Lake are Indian Creek Elementary, Middle and High School. All are located approximately 15 minutes away from the lake area.

City of Indianapolis

Located approximately an hour north is one of the largest cities in the state, Indianapolis, where there are lots to do and see.

Indianapolis is known for many different sports attractions and museums. It is also home to the largest children’s museum in the country! This “sports-crazy city” is great for watching games downtown and enjoying the restaurant scene.
